He's had an interesting history, showing a lot of promise but dogged by injury, poor decision making and sheer bad luck. His cv does show him as a very determined and ambitious person. I hope Tranmere is the place where he can fulfill his potential.
I work with a number of Burnley fans and nobody has anything particularly positive to say about him. However, he wasn't really on the Burnley fans radar until they needed bodies at the end of the 20/21 covid season. If you remember a few first teamers were out of contract and refused to extend on a week-by-week in case they were injured before moving on to new clubs. A few unexpected and unimpressive minutes in the EPL is clearly no guideline as to how he may fare 3 levels down. His stint at Stanley is probably more relevant. Fingers crossed!

Do you know how Accrington fans rate him and why he didn’t end up there?

When he went on loan to Accrington their manager John Coleman was raving about him. 2 goals in 10 games over a season shows it didn’t really work out. Injury related i’m guessing

To be fair to the lad he only started 3 of those games. As you say he was out injured from early December, and that was immediately after 2 starts on the spin which suggests he was progressing.

Glatzel apparently in tomorrow. Still another striker but not as imminent. Davies still apparently attracting interest all according to the two ITK's elsewhere.

Yes glatzel was seen at PP yesterday although maybe he’s changed his mind lol. Given our lack of competitiveness yesterday you do wonder if Micky is rethinking bringing in an injury prone youngster….don’t we need some more steel? Perhaps an old fashioned target man? Unless mumbongo can do that

Seems daft to sign him tomorrow as he's nowhere near fit yet.

They need some inspiration after Saturday. We have had too many old fashioned target men who have not delivered. This said, they really must sort out the central defence. As has been said, it was shambolic on Saturday.

Is that on loan or a permanent deal ADD?

Yes saw their twitter account teaser... thought he had something about him and did well in pre-season from the little we saw with a good goal. MM obviously doesn't fancy him however. Suspect also that means we have another striker be that Glatzel or another done.

I agree with ADD re Burton, scored and looked decent in his Fleetwood cameo, picked up an injury but not used at all when he recovered. Can’t imagine he was costing much of a wage, gave us some pace, which is lacking in the current forwards only the even less experienced Taylor offers that. Hope that the move to Marine works out for him, ultimately think he could play at a higher level than that.

Good luck to Jake. He’s been around the club for a while now and never been rated as good enough by the management. He’ll probably be remembered when Micky made that strange team selection at Northampton last season to make a point to others.

Agree with boz that we could do with some more pace especially in attacking areas.

Presumably once fit Mumbongo will provide pace up front
