Their deflected effort that just went the wrong side of the post? Agree with the work required of the respective keepers.

Game over I fear. Poor goal to concede undone by one through ball.

We just don’t look like scoring and they don’t concede many

Lewis offering very little up top. Nugent an option and CBT to use all that space with his pace.

mustn’t make any subs too late though

We definately need to use the pace to get behind them but Lewis too isolated really.

Another great ball in the box from Khan this time. We’re toothless so far today!!

Well despite the result there was not much to be critical about the performance. We switched off once but defended well overall. Going forward we were very good, but really missed having an out and out centre forward. At Southend it didn’t matter but I do wonder whether against better teams our lack of a proper number 9 will mean we don’t score enough. Nugent isn’t going to be up to it I fear. Lots of good balls into the box today and possession in their defensive third but nothing to show for it. Could have played all night and we wouldn’t have scored.

Some good performances especially Spearing and CBT looked dangerous but MOM for me was Khan who was solid and excellent going forward. Let’s put this to bed now (at least no long journey home), and focus on Wednesday.

good effort from the lads' Khans crossing was great, Lewis did nothing and think Woolery is wasted out wide we missed Vaughn, we played very well and Sunderland where poor at times so I'm happy, it is more important we get the points on wed
