I know ITM was not really a winger and there are too many midfielders on the bench, but I was going purely for ability rather than sentiment, or a balanced selection. Dale Jennings is unlucky not to be included, but his brilliant spell was just too brief.
I have chosen five players who featured in the first half of the 12-13 season, which in terms of pure talent was the best side we have had in the last ten years.
It would be interesting to see what Micky could do with some of those players.
