Wow.. Hemmings through, hits the post and goes out. That would have been game over.

Great ball from Warrington but Hemmings should have buried it.

3 0 comfortable win, we limited them to few chances and could really have had 4 or 5, the front 2 played well and Warrington looked quality on that showing.
Onto a very poor Walsall team on Saturday hopefully for another win.

Superb performance. All of them, worked hard on and off the ball, clincal in attack, defended well. I don't think Doohan had a shot to save. Lovely moment at the end of the game for Nate. Proud of them all. SWA!!

Second half was much more comfortable and Swindon didn’t manage to put anything dangerous into our box. A good win.

Swindon missed a good chance to equalise in the first half and caused a little bit of concern late on in the second half with a bit of a scuffle in our goal area but other than that it was an excellent performance by Rovers who pressed from the front from the start. 3 good goals all well taken and all due to forward pressing, and a terrific workrate throughout the team proving that possession rate in itself doesnt necessarily win you matches but effort and commitment usually will. A great alround performance, in,cluding a good debut for Warrington with his assist for the first goal, with MOM, for me, shared between Glatzel and O'Connor. And...as Ian says, a lovely moment at the end in remembrance of young Nate shared by the team and everyyone in the ground. SWA

What a performance that was. First half very good but second half outstanding. The levels of energy and pressing were superb. Hemmings took his first goal really well and although in control I thought we needed a second and a good move down the right saw glatzel get a poachers goal at the back post. Hemmings then missed a sitter but to be fair then had the courage to step up for the penalty and took it well. Another clean sheet and we made a decent Swindon side look very average. Great for little Nates memory that we scored in the 5th minute and a nice touch with the shirt at the kop end at full time.

An excellent nights work. Sponsors MOM went to Hemmings but numerous excellent performances. Davies solid again reading the game well. OConnor was very good and the front two were a handful. Warrington had a solid debut working hard and passing it well.

A complete performance from Rovers and we gave Swindon a good, old fashioned mullering. It is no coincidence that we scored three for the first time this season just as the Hemmings-Glatzel partnership really starts to blossom.

What a fitting send off to give Nate, and how spooky that we scored the opening goal just as the applause for him was ringing round the ground.

We started the first half really brightly and could easily have been two or three up in twenty minutes. In addition to the opening goal, Warrington fired wide after only a few seconds, and Glatzel crashing a shot against the post from a tight angle after a lovely lay off from Hemmings. Swindon came into the game with a fair amount of possession midway through the half, and knocked the ball round quite nicely. However, as we have seen so many times this season we were happy to let them have the ball in non-threatening areas, and we did not give them a sniff of a goal. I don't think the header that they glanced wide even counts as a chance to be honest.

It seemed that at half time Mellon had instructed the players to be more aggressive and pen Swindon in when they tried to play out from the back. The result was that we completely suffocated them in the first twenty minutes of the half, forcing them to turn possession over cheaply and give the ball away in bad areas, and we could easily have scored further goals.

Defensively we were completely untroubled and Swindon's first genuine shot came in stoppage time.

Individually, I thought Morris, Glatzel, Hawkes and Hemmings were all excellent. Davies reads the game fantastically well and gives us something extra defensively, as well as KP has played in the last two games. I thought Warrington looked a very tidy player indeed. He was always trying to be positive and play forward, which is a quality we don't really have with the other central midfielders. The pass which put Hemmings through when he hit the post was inch perfect.

Man of the match, Kane Hemmings.

Who’d have predicted a 3-0 win against the team with the best away record? Although none of the votes in this site’s poll predicted an away win, which shows how confident the fans have become recently. The FGR result was quickly put behind us and the Barrow result taken in our stride. We now seem to go into every match with confidence. Tonight’s result is a real statement to the teams below us.
