He has been doing pretty well at Bradford, but whether he was in our price range I don't know.

Just looked up Cook's record, 3 in 23 for Mansfield, 5 in 11 scored in 4 games for Bradford. Guess it's like Mullin, simply depends on how he fits in at a club. Last time at Tranmere it was 0 in 5.

Absolutely. I liked Mullin but I never thought he was capable of 25 goals. Probably make 30+ before the season ends.

He scored 49 goals in two seasons for us. It may have been the NL but it was more than Nors.

Yes, I don't think he was fully fit during his loan spell last season, but there is no question he would offer more than Nugent.

I'm not saying he wouldn't score but it is now a different team - Norwood and Cook were a great combination - could he replace Vaughan? I suspect he would be great with Vaughan not sure as a lone 'striker'. Shame he isn't here to see!
