Still clear of the relegation zone and incredibly we are above Portsmouth whose only victory was against us. Why can't we score in the first hour? Look forward to the reports.

Behind Pompey on GD, they got an injury time penalty equaliser! Mind you they have 2 games in hand and won't be hanging around the bottom few for too long.

What a brilliant game that was! End to end stuff. Rovers were immense and deserved to win it in the end. Again Rovers show true spirit and resilience coming from two goals down. I thought the game was over after Peterborough scored in quick succession with their dangerous swift attacks. Never say die Rovers kept going though and had them rattled at the end. If we put those performance in we would be fine but sadly it is not consistent enough. Not sure why Mellon was sent off by another poor referee performance.

Just a quick one on Posh. They have some really dangerous players and would fair a lot better if they cut all the silliness out of their game brought about by their manager.

Our best performance of the season and we can count ourselves very unfortunate not to win the game. Peterborough had a constant threat on the break with the pace of Toney and the skill of Maddison, but we were the better side in every other respect: we played some great football through midfield, showed fantastic workrate and again displayed great spirit having gone behind against the run of play.

There has been a lot of debate about whether several of these players are good enough for League One, but there were some fantastic performances from the maligned figures in the side tonight: Banks, Morris and Potter were all superb, Monthe was immense at the back and the workrate and attitude of the two strikers was great, with Payne unlucky not to score from a couple of very good chances. I think tonight's game was the first time we have looked like a good, League One standard team and if we can maintain that level of performance in the weeks ahead, surely we will start to pick up victories against some of the lesser sides.

The two goals were great quality: a brilliant ball from Potter and a fantastic header from Ridehalgh for the first, and a wonder strike from Banks to equalise.

If we can produce a similar performance on Saturday, surely we can finally break our duck and earn a 'proper' victory.

Absolutely. Fantastic quality, pace, intensity.

A couple of years ago we were comfortably beating Woking and Barrow in entirely forgettable affairs. I would much rather see us battle to a result in a game like tonight's.

The applause for the lads at the end of the game was great, we all appreciated the effort they had put in. There was also a great buzz outside the ground at FT. Great to see.

Yes, the players had a standing ovation at half time for the first time in a long, long time as well. The atmosphere was great and clearly spurred the lads on in the second half.

Shame there weren't a few more bums on seats to see it. The attendance was a bit disappointing albeit a Tues night.

Like Micky says we are a very proud club. If the players put in the effort we appreciate it.

The result was a pleasant surprise, particularly given our recent experiences with Posh. Nice to see some pride in the shirt! Let us hope we can kick away from the relegation zone. Pleased to see Ridehalgh get a goal after his torrid time recently. Just wish Banks would be more consistent. A real asset if he was.

Ian's and RLC's reports are spot on. That was just an utterly fantastic game of football. Those who were unfortunately unable to get to the game missed an absoute corker. It warms the cockles of one's heart to see Rovers finally put in a performance like that. You just couldn't ask for any more. The work ethic was there, the passion, the skill and above all a collective team effort. Even though Peterborough were always dangerous on the attack, we were probably the better side and deserved the three points for our sheer endeavour. Morris was my man of the match although many could make a claim, such was the performance from the entire team. He was really solid when needing to defend and a threat going forward. What was really pleasing was the pressing by Payne and Mullin, as well as their interplay with some excellent short passing and flick-ons by Payne. He clearly needs the ball played into his feet. What was Rides doing in a centre forward position for his headed goal? Who cares! What a well taken goal it was. And Banks' goal could well be a contender for goal of the season, at least it felt like that at the time. I thought it was going to turn into a Greek tragedy when they scored their first - we had been dominant and had deserved to take the lead. And then their second. Ouch! But then, fans and players together, drove the team on and on and on. And on another note, Scotty played his 200th game for the club - a decent, loyal and committed professional, and a top-class keeper to boot. Let's bring on Saturday and show this league that we really are back where we belong!

The team has to be more consistent. There is no reason why we can't play with the same intensity as last night on Sat.

Not able to go or watch it on Ifollow last night but have to say a great result and from seeing the extended highlights just now we clearly put in a great performance - yes we were caught short at the back for their first but they were seriously seriously quick on the break. Maybe this is the formation we need to focus on for most games? Anyone else fancy Rides for the most goals this season after that great header?!
Seriously great work rate (they looked shattered at the end) but more importantly looks like the players are really starting to gel together. 3 points on Saturday a must now. They can do it!!

Only my second game this season after Bolton (so ive yet to see us lose !) and I was very impressed by the effort, commitment and also the ability to retain possession against a quick and dangerous team. There were superb performances throughout the team but for me I would say the standout performance was Morris who was excellent throughout.

The standards have now been set, there is no reason we cannot climb the table if we continue to play like that
