FFS well that’s what happens. A great goal of course but we haven’t killed the game off and paid the price. Get CBT or someone on

Yes, should have killed them off. Great goal, but hugely frustrating.

We’ve got good options on the bench and he’s not using them. Less than 10 minutes left. Lewis and Morris have done ok but get some fresh legs on for one of them

CBT on for Morris but possibly too little too late. Reactive rather than proactive as should have changed it at 2-1

Really missing Khan as OConnor reluctant to put a cross in

Well that’s certainly 2 points dropped and another game against ten men where we have struggled to kill the game off. At 2-1 against 10 men for the whole of the second half I thought we’d win the game.

Yes they are decent up front but defensively they are average but we were not good enough to get the third goal. Didn’t understand the subs. Clearly it was a risk just sticking with the same eleven at 2-1 and hoping we’d see it through. Nugent for Vaughan was ok but CBT came on far too late. We also have Kirby who could have come on for Lewis.

Just a point from our last 2 home games and arguably our toughest league game of the season coming on Tuesday. Disappointing.

Simply not good enough result or performance today, we should be more posative move the ball around quickly and have a good go at them but it was all too laboured

A very disappointing result but a fair scoreline, as we did not do enough today. We were below par across the pitch, but the way we performed against ten men was a major disappointment. We were too passive, happy to keep the ball in areas that did not hurt Oldham, and with their attacking threat we knew there was always a risk of a sucker punch. A criticism of Hill is that he is very samey with his substitutions at times: a like for like change replacing Vaughan with Nugent, and CBT on for a token five minutes at the end of the game, whereas we could have responded tactically to the red card to punish them.

Individually, I thought Woolery was probably our best player, and Monthe and Feeney had decent games. O'Connor did ok at right back, but as feared we missed the energy and quality of Khan and Lloyd.

Definitely two points dropped, and that follows on from the Stevenage defeat. Our home form can't be allowed to slide.

We need a big reaction at Carlisle now.

Looking at the other results there is not too much damage done, but we probably need four points from the next two away games now.

Yeah, that was a disappointing. The game was there to go and win and we basically threw away two valuable points. What annoyed me was Oldham were down to 10 and yet they still managed to keep 2 up front. We should have been dominating in midfield and really stretching them at the back.

At times when it was 2-1 the likes of Feeney and Woolery were just passing it to each other casually almost like it was 5aside and the match was won. Yes Oldham weren’t pressing at that point but it smacked of naivety and a bit of cockiness assuming the game was won

Yes, absolutely. I am sure we would have scored a third if we had pressed home our advantage because they were dodgy at the back.

No need to panic of course as still only 2 points off the automatic places. If we win at Carlisle then all will be forgotten

The issue is only 1 point in 2 home games against 2 very poor teams.

i agree and it does raise question marks. Not just the result but the subs bringing on CBT far too late. But before Stevenage we were on a great run. As RLC said the next two games both tricky away trips are important for both points and confidence too

Kahn out injured for two to four weeks. We can't complain too much as we have been quite lucky with injuries this season.
