What a miss by Woolery who should have scored from feeneys cross. Good start from rovers but need to make it count

Some good Rovers build up play so far, I hope we can make it count. Best chance falling for Woolery who headed just wide.

And Nugent opens his rovers account from the spot. Great start

Yes! Just what we needed and well deserved. Nugent off the mark!

An immediate reply sees Exeter draw level.

A real test now

O'Connor should have got in a challenge in the build up, or made a foul if necessary.

Khan seemed to have gone missing at that point too. Disappointing, having edged ahead.

I do like the 11 selected. Good idea by KH to have Jay and O'Connor in there
Might be needed

A shame CBT isn’t an option as he may have been more effective against a footballing side like Exeter. Hopefully it doesn’t matter

1-1 at the break. Not the greatest of games since the goals with neither keeper having much to do. We’ve played a fair few long balls that their defence have easily gobbled up as Nugent apart from the penalty, has been fairly quiet and still has some fairly slow reactions at times I think. Need to get Woolery, Morris and Feeney more involved in open play. Apart from set pieces we’ve created little.

Need to step up if we’re going to win this but they will think the same. On the plus side I think we were 3-0 down at ht in the reverse fixture.

A very tight, fairly scrappy affair with the two sides effectively cancelling each other out. We need to at least take a point from this.

Pretty poor half with 2 ordinary teams, we are going long and aerial for too often. Woolery should have scored but we have created very little since the goal.
