Was hoping he’d ask Cowley if he’ll be in charge of us by then!!
In all seriousness a winnable 2nd Round tie won't harm our recruitment of a new manager.

Close to the bottom of NL North and have still to win a League game this season although they have only played 3. They beat Bishop Stortford on pens in the First Round. Too important to take lightly though!

A winnable tie for marine too at home to Havant and waterlooville (who we once signed mustafa tiriyaki from!)

Absolutely, but I do love these cup games. Shame both sets of supporters won't be there to enjoy the day.

Should be able to progress, but recent Cup games against sides at Brackley's level; Southport and Oxford City have gone to replays, which won't be an option this season.

Before we get too carried away, one of the two clubs below Brackley in NLN won at Wigan yesterday. Whoever is in charge needs to ensure our attitude is right going into this one

Two more caveats. From the evidence of last weekend, playing at home seems not to help much when there are no crowds. In fact, I would expect Brackley to prefer the experience of playing at PP. Also, Brackley have a fine cup tradition, having won the FA Trophy just two years ago. They are not to be taken lightly, but frankly it’s a much better draw than most.

Quite surprised at that though not complaining!
