I think regular playing time is big for him thought he looked confidence player with usmaybe he,s found his level or getting regular games is paying off

Thinking about it both Smith and Gilmore probably had their best moments as Rovers that day. It was a great comeback at a point where we were still adjusting to EFL football and must have done wonders for our confidence.I always liked smith. A proper tricky winger but had a goal in him. Always remember the one he got at Morecambe last season. True that L2 May be his level but our lack of wingers at the moment means I’d love to have him at the moment
That tends to be the way with young players and especially wingers.I was never a big fan of Smith. Thought he was too inconsistent.
