Robbie Stockdale commented how pleased he was on signing a contract with Tranmere Rovers earlier this week.
More importantly he was quoted as saying that he has been assured by Ronnie Moore that he will be the only transfer signing by the club this summer with a decent head of hair.
Moore mentioned that Kevin Ellison was only signed to enhance the appearance of Stockdale's locks for the official photo!
It has been rumoured in the local press that he actually has a clause in his contract that states that the length of his hair must be the longest, full bodied and most easily wind effected in the squad or he can leave the club for a minimum of £2 million.
Yesterday's signing of John Mullin only went further to reinforce the opinion of many fans that tranmere's 2006-07 team will be the most aero-dynamic in the division.
