0-0 at the break. Although we’re lucky to not be behind we have looked neat and tidy going forward and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Jolley who has done ok considering the circumstances.

Another half without a shot on target though…

Started very poorly but grew into the game. Ended the half the better team. Surely we have to score against these?! I think Jolley has been one of our better players. Made some good runs down the right.

It’s been a frustrating game with Oldham having the better chances but we started to look a bit brighter towards the end of the half, with Hawkes who’d been very quiet going close with a deflected shot, then coming off with a head injury. Can Feeney finally show some quality befitting one of the higher paid players at the club?

Jolley seems to have bulked up a bit and is doing quite well, Nevitt quieter though usually playing the deeper of the pair. We’re not getting much from the wide players or full-backs which is where Oldham seem strongest, while our central midfield don’t seem to be protecting the defence enough. Not confident we’ll get anything from this.
