I agree, would be a big surprise if that happened.I don't disagree but I still think it is highly unlikely Dawes will be given the job permanently.

Hes not a manager nor is Parky, regardless of results the club must have learned from appointing Jacko.if he wins on Sat and at Port Vale, you never know,
Indeed Ian. I suspect if Aidan is correct which I think he will be... then like when MM took over and watched from the stands againat Wrexham then Adkins will be in the stands for Saturday - but Dawes and Parky will be responsible for the squad on the day.I’m not too opposed to Dawes and Parky taking Sat game. Whilst I wouldn’t want them long term, we did see significant improvements to the performance on Tues so they will be fine in the interim.
I did too and goes someway to explaining why he was given the job. However, I also thought he had zero personality, there was just no spark there. I think you need a bit of that too.I personally thought Jackson spoke well in his interviews.
I watched Nigel Adkins with a short but bubbly morning video on his Twitter feed from his home in Hampshire. He does come across a likeable and really positive guy. Made me feel really positive just watching it and nothing to do with football!
Disappointing, looks like we'll have to settle for Pochettino then ...Latest suggestion is that Adkins is not coming.......
Where's that come from RLC and any more intel on who the other 2 may be?Latest suggestion is that Adkins is not coming.......
A source on another forum who is generally right about most things.Where's that come from RLC and any more intel on who the other 2 may be?
Very interesting names though would be surprised if either got it.
