Pretty awful scrappy half with most of the battles taking place in midfield. Looks to me like Tranmere are playing for a draw, keeping it tight in midfield and defence frustrating Newport to a couple of half chances. In terms of Rovers attacking, it's pretty much long balls feeding off scraps. Not a great spectacle.

The commentary doesn’t make it sound too encouraging to date. Hoping we can kick on in the second half.

Pretty similar to some other away performances. Looking fairly solid but creating absolutely zero. One goal may be enough for either side to win it

The hosts take the lead with a good finish. Are we good enough to get back in this? I fear not

and with all the results going for us its annoying but typical rovers we have not won a LG in over 40 years and auto promotion since 89 just rovers bottling it as normal

The foul May have been outside of the box but it was a rash tackle. Another away performance where we we’ve been shocking in the attacking third

This sounds so bad even listening to our own commentators. The season is rapidly unraveling.

all over now...outside the box but penalty given and scored...we simply are just not good enough...poor cheap signings in January window leaves us totally inept going forward...be lucky to stay in playoff positions when the games in hand are played

This sounds like a repeat of our last couple of away games but with an even worse score. Micky’s tactics are failing and he needs to try something different
