We have played ok, creating a few half chances, but Grimsby are organised and resilient. We need to up the tempo to win it and I would bring Lloyd on.

I've lost count of uninspiring first half performances by Rovers over 50 years so not unduly worried at halftime.

Nugent just doesn't look right and on that first half not much to chose between the sides, though we've been calmer in the attacking third. Wouldn't rule out a narrow defeat at this point.

I think Nugent has done OK with the link ups but does not have enough presence in the eighteen yard box. Too many balls whizzing across the box which are not attacked.

Grimsby although need to win look happy to soak up the pressure. They are providing very little threat. Nugent seems to be doing too much running around. I don't think he's that type of player. Leave him around the box and give him some service.

Well CBT didn’t last long. Lloyd comes on. A bit harsh on Corey perhaps but something needed to change

Morris on for Lewis . Too little too late? Last throw of the dice arguably unless Jolley comes on but clearly no faith in the young striker when we need a goal with the clock ticking down. Crawford for Nugent too. Desperate times but Grimsby have had their half chances and edged the second half
