Cheltenham and Newport both lose, Salford draw.

A victory tomorrow night would put us in a great position going into the final straight.

Over to you Rovers.

Yeah, I would think it would make them even more determined to win tomorrow assuming they have not given up yet.

now tomorrow is a must-win with the scores tonight that is brilliant if we can get the points
This is important, Rovers must seize the advantage tonight's results have given us. If I was being greedy would have rather Crawley hadn't got a 97th minute equaliser, but otherwise we couldn't have had them much better

Win tomorrow and we are 9 points ahead of Crawley, they would need to win at least nine more games as on sure we will win 5 or 6 more.

The barrow result just shows how sometimes the league table can’t be trusted. Grimsby will be hoping the same but I’m sure Keith will make the lads aware.

Anyone heard anything on Vaughan?

Barrow strengthened in January and are actually in really good form, whereas Grimsby are not. However, I agree that no opposition can be taken for granted.

don't care how good or ugly just get the points tonight, KH said in pre-match the lads have got a bounce in their step after weekend loads of positives and well up for it, we need to be fast out of the traps tonight give them nothing, Woolery could do with a goal he is the biggest loser with James being out they had a good partnership going

I’ve been to Blundell Park just once - in 1997 when both sides were in what was then called the First Division. It was a cold, wet evening and a grim 0-0 draw, despite the fact we had some good players back then. Only the fish and chips were memorable. Since then of course both sides have been down three tiers to the National League and back up again. Irrespective of the result tonight, Rovers seem to have the best prospects. Ian Holloway tried and failed, eventually falling out with the new owners. Paul Hurst has a massive job on his hands and not a lot of time left. If the team can see the positives of getting to Wembley and put behind the disappointment of losing, I can’t see team failing tonight. Keith will be ready to make changes if players look tired.

Danny Coyne had a decent spell at Blundell Park. Think he got player of the year in 2 of his 4 years there.

I don't think we have got a very good record at Blundell Park. I have been numerous times but have only seen us win once, on my first visit in 1991 when Kenny Irons scored a cracker.

As it stands today, what do you folks think will be the minimum for automatic and the play-offs? I'm thinking 81 and 77 points ie a bunch sprint right at the end.

When you consider the schedule ahead, I think Hill may have to freshen things up from the bench tonight to a greater extent than in previous matches.

Sunday will have taken a lot out of the players in terms of nervous excitement, and on Saturday we play a decent Exeter side who have had a full week of rest, while we have had a quicker than normal turnaround from a midweek fixture. On Tuesday we make another long trip to Colchester.

Fatigue is bound to be an issue, and we will have to manage the squad well to get a good points haul from this sequence of matches.
