I'm fortunate enough to be able to work from home so today (Monday) was my last day in the workplace. Mind you, that's for one day only this week since I'm off anyway Wednesday to Friday. With today's announcements I suspect my 3 days' leave may be the least interesting ever! The permutations of what may happen to 19/20 season, which initially held so much promise as a discussion topic, have already lost their lustre. I suppose if things get too bad I can don a beekeepers outfit and join in the nation's fastest growing sport of Bog Roll Hunting. I am sincerely hoping that White Review keeps ticking over to help fill the void and stave off madness.

We are pretty much assigned to our homes now that Boris has said he doesn't want us socialising. White Review will still be here but it will be awful quiet without any football to talk abut.

We will have to do what we did in the close season. In fact, this is very much the same thing, except that we can’t talk much about prospects for next season and which players we should sign. We don’t even know which division we’ll be in.

Maybe we’ll have to reminisce. Best ever Rovers team/players, best ex-Rovers currently playing and so on.

I see the club are still pushing season tickets for next season. I suppose they have to, but who knows when it will start or whether we'll have to finish this one first.

Yes, football seems very much secondary at the moment.

You know things must be bad when guys like you get worried. I often wonder what it would have been like to live through WW2 or even fight in it. Both my parents did. They didn't know when it would end or even if they would win. Put in perspective, this is nothing like as bad - and we will get through it. We just have to be sensible.
