A good half from rovers who should be in front. Foley had an early shot cleared off the line and hawkes has twice been denied by their keeper. Our penalty was the right decision and converted well by spearing.
Always wonder if a ref will even it up and he gave them a soft penalty which made it 1-1. Need to keep an eye on the dangerous diamond but if we play second half like we did the first we could easily win this. However they are dangerous and have threatened especially with set pieces
Still need more from Nevitt though in my view who hasn’t won anything against their centre backs. Mcmanaman a bit of a passenger too.

Rovers need to be careful here. Harrogate pushing forward and looking confident after the equaliser. They look quite dangerous on the attack. Shame we couldn't make it 2-0 when we had the chances too. Rovers certainly well in it though, could go either way.

Harrogate haven't let us play the way we normally do, targeting the full=back areas, which have reduced our attacking options building from the back. However, we'd got over a rather stagnant spell and taken a deserved lead. Their penalty equaliser was a soft decision, but after it, we were under the hosts best spell of attacking play as they finished the half on top.

Nevitt needs more help from team-mates, there was a point near the end of the half where he won the ball in the middle of the park, but nobody gave him an out ball. Mcmanaman has been anonymous. Not confident and it will be interesting to see if Micky makes any tactical adjustments as we resume.

Poor defending sees us go behind. We badly need more goals. Get Maynard on alongside Nevitt. Need more from Morris and mcmanaman
