After being released by Accrington, Ged - as several of you may already know - has been training with Lancashire side Morecambe. They've now signed him up, the new transfer rules meant that he couldn't be signed sooner apparently.

I wish the 33 year old well, hope he's reasonably fit and can display some of what he had when he was with us. Expect to see your name on the goalticker before too long Gerard!

Ahh, yes, good old Ged! Didn't even know he was still playing. I wish him well. Great tidy player he was...

Hmm, for some reason, I thought he went to Forest after he played for us. :? Also didnt realise how many clubs he's been too since leaving us.

Alan Rogers went to Forest, Ged went to Man City, for a tidy sum if I remember rightly.

Ged was a great player and I will remember him for two goals that meant a lot to me... the 1st was a headed equaliser against Man City 5 minutes into stoppage time and the 2nd was his 35 yard screamer away at Ipswich in a 2-0 win. Ahhh... great memories!!

Rogers was a cracking left back, and Ged could play there as well, even Branchie played there for Burnley having never crossed back into his own half while playing for us, but Mahon!! mad!
