Tranmere have today completed the signing of striker Gareth Taylor subject to a medical.
The 33-year old arrives from Nottingham Forest with 12 international caps for Wales and more than 100 career goals.

Good signing... He should do well for at least one season and should be a good partner for Greenarce. The squad is shaping up and looking good.

After looking at the Official website it mentiones "Gareth will be our fourth striker at the club alongside Chris Greenacre,Calvin Zola and Steve Davies"

Yeah he was supposed to be going to Port Vale but apparently he's failed to agree terms as he wants more money.

On paper this is a great signing. Let's hope he gels well with Greenacre up front and they bang in some goals between them. What's going to happen to Zola? I still have a soft spot for the lad.. :oops:

He's only young and could prove to be good back up for the front two with Davies.
