Fresh investment imminent? Simon Nainggolan?

Nainggolan was asked on Twitter if he is going to invest and his response was effectively 'fingers crossed'.

He is back in the UK for talks on the 7th and 10th of August.

He is going to Oxford apparently. Very frustrating that he is going to a similar sized club in the same division.

It seems that we could not match their contribution to his wages. So much for the 'special relationship' with Liverpool; after all, it is just peanuts to them.
Pretty depressing, but that says it all about our ability to attract new players. It was fairly easy in the VNL, it got a little more difficult in League Two, but we are really struggling at present. We really need that injection of capital if we are to make any progress in the near future.

It may also be that Birkenhead was too close to ‘home’ for him. He would be under more local fan scrutiny than down at Oxford.i

Maybe we are loaning another Liverpool youngster rather than Woodburn...

Apparently there is some Indonesian money incoming. Sooner rather than later after yesterday's showing.

problem comes when spending it we need to recruit better, Rochdale looked different class at times which showed how much we missed nors as the front 2 couldn,t close down quick enough, are they better coached? or do they have better luck with recruitment?

They have years of L1 experience and haven't suffered the financial penalties of three years in the NL. They seem to have a good manager but it's a long time since I have heard any serious criticism of our coaching. Micky and his team seem able to spot players n-one else wants and make the most of their potential. Give our squad time to gel.

I have no idea how people can make definitive judgements about our recruitment after ninety minutes of football. Plus, our recruitment last season under Mellon was very good, both in the summer and in January.

This is Rochdale's sixth straight season in League 1, the amount of money they will have had over this period of time compares to the amount we have had will be considerably more.

At least yesterday's game showed us were we need to be to compete at this level. It is now down to the club to get us to that level.

It's a long way to travel for a glass of wine with Palios, so I'd assume an announcement would be imminent..
What though?
Stake in the club?
Maybe first team funds, but more importantly some long term investment to help us to keep growing, until one day the Premier league!!

Might also result in some work on the pitch! There was some talk of a guy called Maddox signing on loan from Chelsea?
