After our abysmal showing at Oldham today, how refreshing it was to come back and watch Barnsley beat Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter final. Its definitely been a year of upsets which is always nice to see (albeit we didn't get far enough to find out ourselves) but Barnsley were magnificent and showed the lower leagued teams can beat the multi-billionaires of the Premier League. Grit and determination can get you so far, and they had that in abundance, but it also showed these lower teams also have a bit of quality too. Play to your strengths, and you can beat the top teams. Well done Barnsley.

These quarters have been great. With Man Utd, Chelsea and now it looks like Middlesborough going out, it's certainly been refreshing to watch. Very enjoyable..

Amazing... One of Barnsley or Cardiff in the final. West Brom vs Portsmouth the other semi final. I don't understand how the bookmakers have made Barnsley the outsiders? Do they just go on a league positions and dismiss the fact they have knocked out Chelsea and Liverpool!?
