I have just read that this system is to finish from the end of this season. Any loan will have to be 6 months or more. Surely Gary will now have to give a few young players a go. They may end up being all he has!

Good, I've never been a fan of these emergency loans when you've still got players at your disposal.

Agreed. They helped us in the PJ days when we had a small squad but next season we'll have more players than most so other clubs will suffer more. Most emergency loans last season did not work out. I think only McNulty, Vaughan and Hughes out of a dozen loanees were a success. Yes, it will mean more of our youngsters will play. It also means that we can't farm our juniors out for experience either. It will require a rethink.
