Who'd you like to see at the heart of the TRFC defence assuming everyone was fit and available for selection?

Have to agree... It has to be Jackson and Sharps when both are fit!

Has to be Jackson and Sharps. Goodison was just awful yesterday and Sharps is an immense influence in there.

I also say Jacko and Sharpy, just because they have played a lot together and have a good understanding. I reckon Linwood would be pushing them hard though (if he wasnt send out to bloody Wrexham though  ) ha ha.

Yep, I'm in agreement too. I thought maybe Jackson and Linwood, but wouldnt want to leave Sharpsy out, then I thought Linwood and Sharps, but we need Jackson's goals every now and then, and I'm not sure how they would play together.

Good question though :)

Carlisle reserves most of the time for Mr Goodison.

Linwood I don't think is as good as the other two. He's not a bad player by any means, and might come to the fore with some improvement, which is probably why he is on loan. Reserve matches are all well and good but there is not the same competitiveness or atmosphere (i.e. crowd etc) as there is in league matches.

I actually think there's a case for going back to 3 at the back in a 3-5-2 formation for away games.
