The art of defending is missing tonight, this could end up any score

Well I said more goals and it’s 2-2! Vaughan’s cross gets past the keeper after Woolery puts him off.

two poor defences on show tonight!
Two decent attacking teams as well though. Both sides are a handful.

An all action half sees us level and good character to come from behind twice. We still look vulnerable on our right side but could win this if we defend better

Crazy half. We have played some great stuff in terrible conditions but we have been all over the place at the back at times. Nelson has been terrible at right back and seems to be carrying an injury.

We look dangerous enough to win it but I would take a point the way we are defending. The gale is with us in the second half which should help.

If we don't make changes in defence, we will be punished further. Great chance for them completely unmarked gets a strike in but takes a deflection. Having said that we have grown into the game more than the home side. All to play for 2nd half!

Yes starting without OConnor at RB hasn’t worked but will Keith learn and change it at HT? Interesting. May depend if Nelson is fit to carry on

Not much to add. Nelson took a knock early on, which makes it even harder for him playing out of position.

The other thing about Nelson at right back is that he offers no threat going forward whatsoever, which means their left sided player can bomb forward at will.

Rovers unchanged. Rovers fans won’t be too forgiving if the right side problems continue when we have OConnor on the bench.

conditions look terrible now

Strange that Nelson still at right back, either get him off or go to 3 centre halves

Yes and a mistake in my view. Possibly too physical for Kirby and not sure how fit Crawford is.

lots of defending to do so far in this half with a flurry of corners for the home side

Yeah, some pressure from the home side, but we can break and we can do it quickly so I hope we can catch them.
