Shows how thin we are for cover at the back. I know Foley has played there in his career, but would rather we'd used O'Connor there and put Foley into central midfield.

OConnor maybe doesn’t have the height to play CB but as I think Boz or BBTC have said many times we need some cover at centre back. Davies does have some injury history but hopefully it’s nothing serious

Sounds a fairly even contest, possible penalty for Jolley, but neither keeper really .tested.

Didn't look like a pen to me. Rovers have been decent but a fairly stale affair so far. No shots on target for either team. Rovers looking fairly comfortable though.

Best chance for Rovers. McPake exchanges passes with Hemmings, runs to the byline, shots across goal and it goes just wide. Good play from Rovers.

Spearing, I think.. Low cross from a set piece and seemed to go through half a dozen bodies before hitting the net. 1-0 Rovers.

Just after Crawley had a decent chance to take the lead themselves. Hope we can manage this, don’t want to sit too dwp.

We are not sitting deep. Another good chance this time from Nevitt who gets a shot off but straight at the keeper.

McPake subbed for Macmanaman. Sounded like his best performance in a Rovers shirt.

Well done, lads. A great performance with a makeshift defence. With nearly all our rivals winning, we needed that! Fortunately, Sutton v Northampton was a draw.

FT: Crawley 0-1 Tranmere

Excellent performance from Tranmere and well deserved three points against a pretty lifeless Crawley. We limited them to only a few stabs at goal, defence was comfortable with Foley slotting in nicely alongside Clarke. Oconnor was excellent in the middle and I was impressed with McPakes contribution.

Got the goal we needed and played the game out nicely. Another three points in the bag and we march on!

Another 3 points and Another clean sheet, the unbeaten run carries on. A big 9 days coming up with FG next Saturday and the window closing, Hawkes will return be interesting what other movements there are.
