It goes to show what can happen with rubbish management. Coventry could be thrown out of the League in May because they may not have a ground for next season. Years ago they wee always an entertaining side and we have discussed before the great FA Cup win over them in the late 60s. They were a First Division team then.

There ought to be more control over club owners to prevent the sale of grounds or clubs which don't at least have rental agreements in place. The recent designation of Prenton Park as a local asset is reassuring if the club ever ends up in the wrong hands.

I,m sure I read somewhere that the owner of port vale also owns the ground but will only sell the club side of it, who in their right mind would buy a club when the ground could be sold from under them
