According to an unofficial Crewe Alex site, Chris McCready will play some part for Tranmere in our pre-season friendly tonight. All I know of his is that he's a defender, currently without a club.

He may be ok... think he played the full game tonight and did ok. Injury prone apparently though but he may have got over them now. Can't be terrible if Crewe offered him a 2 year deal?
