That was one of Hemmings' best performances I thought and looks to be gelling more with the squad. He did miss a really good chance after great work from Glatzel. He got a decent shot in, it was just a shame on of their defenders got his body in the way just in time. His goals will come though. I could tell it was pretty terrible conditions from the iFollow footage but it was probably ten times worse in person! That ground looks pretty ropey too.
I only went to Barrow once, many years ago, and the ground has obviously not improved from the very average venue it was back then!

Did Micky saw anything post match about the lack of changes? Can understand that sometimes things are going well despite the setback of conceding that no good reason to alter it, but that wasn’t my impression from the Twitter updates and post match remarks in here. While it would have been asking a lot for Warrington to make an impact we also had an experienced pro in Mcmansman and a striker with recent goals in Jolley available.

Ditto. My only visit was back in 1965 when it was simply called Holker Street. They dropped into non-league for about 50 years after that and presumably had no need and no money to upgrade the ground. It just goes to show that changing the name to the exotic Dunes Hotel Stadium hardly improves the fans’ experience. I don’t think Mark will be changing the name of our stadium to the Ritz or Caesar’s Palace any time soon.

No, but I thought Hemmings and Glatzel were both playing well to the end and I would not have substituted them. I am not sure the conditions yesterday would have suited Warrington.

Substitutions don't guarantee an improvement and sometimes you just can't get the victory over the line, despite playing reasonably well.

I have been a few times and always visit the local chippie and I always make sure I sit in the stand because, it has a roof.
There has been a few modifications but mainly little bits, nothing major!
Barrow are making plans, when? No idea!

Holker Street - yes! A long drive as well on the coach!
