Luke Waterfall, scored two for Grimsby.
Paul Mullin scored a peno for Wrexham but won't count as the match was abandoned!

Alabi and Mullin on the scoresheet for Bromley and Wrexham but the latter fail to win again. Harvey Gilmour starts for Halifax with ex rovers loanee Gerry McDonough coming on as sub. Nors is back as a sub for Ipswich in their pizza trophy win

In fairness to Mullin, he seems to have a hand in virtually all of Wrexham's goals, either through a finish or an assist. The rest of their squad seems to be of variable quality, but there is no doubt he is performing for them.

Wrexham’s recruitment policy has been strange. They have spent heavily on a couple of decent players in Mullin and Tozer but without much thought to the rest of the team. I’d have thought with less profligate spending they could have built a squad as good as ours. Certainly, if Micky had their budget we’d be top three already with a couple of decent goal scorers.

I agree that it all seems very haphazard. Mullin gets injured and they are up the creek. Parkinson is an experienced Manager so you just wonder who is taking the decisions. The owners I would suspect and their knowledge of English football must be limited. As I have said before, I feel sorry for the fans. Maybe the Supporters Trust should not have been so willing to sell. They saw the incoming cash injection, as you would, without perhaps appreciating how it would be spent. See what happens!

Their signings smack of trying to win headlines in the short term, rather than being part of a longer term strategy.

The appointment of Phil Parkinson also suggests they were just interested in bringing in a 'name' rather than a manager with experience of the division, which is usually a prerequisite for promotion at that level.

Another goal last night for Cole Stockton
Haver to wonder if a lower level Championship club will come in in January for him - 10 League goals and 12 overall especially in a side which I think will start to struggle this season is great going. Have to assume when he signed on with them again he negotiated a break clause that would allow him to move to a Chamionship club for a set transfer fee.
