remember the two dutch lads murhen & thijssen playing for them, were they the 1st to come over ? not sure myself
Yes - I think it was Muhren? Paul Lambert, the Manager is under a lot of pressure. No doubt one reason he got the job was his previous success at Norwich. Not good to fail then!remember the two dutch lads murhen & thijssen playing for them, were they the 1st to come over ? not sure myself
Still no word from the club about this - at least on the OS. They are usually good at reporting news of former players, particularly ones who played a lot of games and had some success. It's disappointing.paddock forum have posted the sad news regarding john manning,s passing away
I can't believe how many Mullin has scored this season. Isn't he on 20+ now?2 is the magic number today with assists for Cole Stockton and goals for Cook and Mullin in their games
22 and Cambridge have only played 30 games. At this rate he’ll get player of the season especially if they go up.I can't believe how many Mullin has scored this season. Isn't he on 20+ now?
Obviously they have a system that works for him. it was not the case with us!22 and Cambridge have only played 30 games. At this rate he’ll get player of the season especially if they go up.
what a great free Transfer for them
I had forgotten all about him. I think he came on loan from Leicester did not he, in the mid eighties ?Ex loanee Rob Kelly caretaker manager Barrow rest of the season
Yeah, has had a number of coaching/assistant roles over the yearsI had forgotten all about him. I think he came on loan from Leicester did not he, in the mid eighties ?
Given his “swashbuckling” approach as both a player and a manager, I can’t imagine a more appropriate job for Joey than the boss of the Pirates.Clint Hill and Andy Mangan expected to resume coaching duties if Joey Barton gets the Bristol Rovers job.
Makes you wonder how he’s managed to get another job in league one. At Fleetwood he did ok I think but left partly because he fell out with Ched Evans and also I think he still has an assault charge hanging over him when he whacked the Barnsley managed (allegedly). Surely there are better options out there.Given his “swashbuckling” approach as both a player and a manager, I can’t imagine a more appropriate job for Joey than the boss of the Pirates.
The trial is in june, if found guilty he faces a custodial sentence.Think the Bristol Rovers owner appears a bit of a loose cannon, so think this might all end in tears. It sounds like the evidence against him for the assault against the Barnsley manager is fairly strong, so Mr Barton may be unavailable after the trial, which recall has been moved back.
