Visitors pressing quite high not allowing us much movement through midfield. Having said that, their keeper has still made a few decent saves.

Agree with Ian. There's been a bit too much play in the region just outside our penalty area for my liking.

Need to up our game a bit here. Stevenage look very average and whilst they’ve pressed quite well they are here for the taking. We’ve done ok in patches but still in second gear in the final third. Crawford looks ok but I can’t help thinking we may need to use the subs today and I’m not too excited by our bench when I guess CBT and Ferrier are in the stand (or at home)

Absolute awful game of football, they pressing well we are resorting to long balls which is getting us nowhere. They are frustrating us no end

Need to be a vast improvement and up the tempo in second half

They are digging their heels in and are showing no intent on attacking so we have to be patient and break them down.

Fairly dire half apart from a couple of early chances. They’ve made 2 substitutions too. This sort of game we should be winning if we want promotion

Terrible, scrappy affair which I half expected given Stevenage's position. They are slowing the game down at every opportunity. We need to keep the ball on the floor and move it quickly. When we passed it we did create chances.

Carry on like this in the second half and it's got 0-0 written all over it...not sure about "a little salt and pepper ", it needs a big helping of red hot chilli peppers

It's got the feel of the kind of game where we might lose to a scrappy goal or dodgy penalty, the referee seems whistle happy. Rovers started brightly, a couple of decent efforts and the corner headed off the line. Since then Stevenage have broken up our play really well and the clever balls haven't paid off. As Sparky says we haven't got any obvious game changers on the bench.

The first goal is vital. We need to score it and force them to open out.

Morris and Kirby are both capable of making an impact from the bench.

Need to get the full backs forward more, keep the ball on the floor and pass it around quicker.

I would look to bring Kirby on for Crawford early second half.

Just have a concern Kirby could be a bit lightweight for this sort of fixture. Hopefully we don’t need him. Morris certainly an option

It's the kind of game where we could do with Ferrier's ability to make the ball stick. Unsure about Morris or Kirby being game-changers here.

Could do with Scottie taking his goal kicks a bit quicker ...

Keith perhaps not happy with the first part of the second half so brings on Morris for Lloyd . Agree with Boz that we could do with better options to change the game.

As is sometimes the case Manny constantly sending it long and giving them the ball back

I’m surprised as Lloyd has a goal in him and Crawford has been ineffective and may not even be that match fit

Lloyd has been one of our better players tonight, puzzled at that change.

Keith certainly not happy so Kirby and Jolley on for Crawford and Woolery.

Disappointing for Kayne as another with goals in recent weeks taken off.
