A fantastic performance by the second string and a deserved victory. It is an incredible result when you consider the players Peterborough had on the pitch in the second half.
The game opened out after half time, but I thought we we were much the better side and created the better chances. As Sparky says, some of the passing and movement was excellent and demonstrates the confidence that is flowing through the squad at the moment.
I thought everybody played well, with Ridehalgh, Ray, Morris, Mac Donald and Lloyd all having good games. O'Connor and Lewis both did well out of position, particularly the former, and credit to Hill for again having the courage to use players in unfamiliar roles. Kirby was excellent: always willing to receive the ball, confident and showing good vision, while also being prepared to get stuck in.
My man of the match would probably be Mac Donald, just ahead of Kirby and Lloyd: Callum just seems to getter and better.
We are now ninety minutes from Wembley and a tasty looking semi final awaits.
