Thank god for the full time whistle!! Fully deserved win but we nearly threw it away at the end.
Feeney MOM for me, the best player on the pitch but lots of great performances

That was more open and exciting than thought it would be, a very good win but we were too open in the second half and Scott really saved us several times.

A good win with 2 more home games up next.

An excellent performance by Rovers, the best we have played under Hill and a return to the slick football we played in the Dawes period. FGR threw caution to the wind in the second half and created chances, but there is no doubt that we were the better side and deserved the win, and the scoreline flatters them when the whole ninety minutes is considered.

I agree with Sparky about Feeney. I think it was a 433 we were playing, but when Liam is in the middle he is able to dictate the play and get the passing triangles going and he was superb tonight. He seemed to bring out the best in Lloyd, who also had an excellent game, while Lewis looks a much better player when he has the licence to bomb into the box like he did tonight. I thought Kahn was accomplished at full back again and MacDonald equally good on the opposite side. There were some superb challenges from Spearing, and Scott made a couple of fantastic saves in the second half when called upon.

That performance has set the benchmark. If we can play like that against average sides, with the same confidence in possession, movement off the ball, and desire to press and win the ball back, we can still challenge for promotion. We now have to repeat that performance in the next two home games.

Excellent attacking performance from Rovers against another good attacking side in FGR. Good open game with plenty of chances and some great saves. Feeney looking good sitting just behind Vaughan and Kahn having another good game at RB. Like RLC says, we have to keep this going now. If we can get a nice run going, that will set us up nicely for a grand finish but we have to be able to do this week in week out. No complaints today though, it was 100x better than what we saw on Sat. SWA!!

Yes a complete contrast to the Stevenage game. I’ve wanted Feeney out wide for some time but today he was excellent in the middle dictating play with great vision and delivery.

can’t wait to hear what Cooper says!

It was a good game of football, such a change from some of the dross that's been served up recently, though the end was far too nervy for my liking. Everyone in a white/pink shirt contributed towards the win, Manny seemed more up for it against his former club and some excellent work involving Ferrier and Macdonald ultimately led to the 3rd goal from Feeney. Couldn't single anyone out for MoM, hopefully we'll be able to play in a similar vein in the next couple of games and push ourselves back into promotion contention.

I noticed he was berating the ref at the end. ☺

I thought the ref had a decent game. I can imagine Cooper will point to the saves Scottie made and they hit the bar but we could have been 3-0 up at half time
Yes, we had at least three or four clear cut chances in addition to the goals.

Anyone think Keith a tad grumpy in his interview?
