How long will palios give him? The problem is another manager means another potentially overhaul of the squad although some players are on decent contracts

Mark has not got a good record of appointing managers.

We don't need an overhaul of the squad. The players are decent and the problem lies elsewhere.

I agree RLc but some managers will come in and not fancy some of the players

Surely enough is enough. It should have been 2-0 after 6 mins and they were probably unhappy to only go in 3-0 up at half time. Complete disgrace, no passing, just hoofs up to the strikers to try and head on to no one, no outlet when Spearing had it, he kept looking for a full back / wing back and no-one was showing. No tracking players, second to every second ball, all of the basic things are not being done. There is something very rotten happening here....

Lack of leadership on & off the pitch is alarming

amazing when you think of the experience of Scottie, Ellis, Clarke, spearing and Vaughan. Plus feeney is early 30s. Do we need more youth and pace in the side?

will be interesting what Jacko says. Surely fitness can’t be an issue again

Time is running out for MJ, even for a romantic old optimist like me. When you start a game with your usual Plan B, there’s nowhere to go.

You could give him another game, but that could just be delaying the inevitable. One option could be to bring in an old hand as a mentor. That was offered to Rob Edwards but he refused. It would be novel and very Palios, but would MJ accept and would it work?

There are plenty of good, out of work bosses out there. But would they take the job. No more players till 2021 and could a good boss be afforded?

What really saddens me is that this league is there for the taking. Even now we are only two wins from the playoffs. There are no outstanding teams.

Another completely unacceptable performance, and a team that on this evidence is heading for a relegation scrap, not a promotion challenge.

I thought in the first five minutes we did actually show more agression and press higher up the pitch than in previous games. However, a new problem emerged in the form of an enormous gulf between defence and midfield, which Crawley exploited to cut us open at will in the first twenty minutes. We could have been more than three goals down at half time and the lack of basic organisation in the side is unbelievable. The gaps between the different compartments of the team are too big, there are no relationships between the players, and there seems to be a collective confusion regarding what the game plan actually is (if any).

In the second half we were slightly better going forward and created a few half chances, but again no shots on target. However, we still looked vulnerable defensively and were cut open far too easily on occasions.

Individually, I thought Smith worked hard up front and I would like to see what he could do alongside Vaughan if he was properly directed; it was good to see CBT back on the pitch.

However, individual players are not the issue. There were signs of a few senior members of the squad losing their rag towards the end, which is unsurprising.

the players we left behind the player's fitness the pressure the chairman has put on a title-chasing team, the ball being square. cats on the pitch or the pitch were not bumpy enough, which will it be I will pay for his fkn taxi to melon and drop him fkn off

6th time we have failed to score in 9 league games, several of those games we not had a shot on target, too many players way off the pace lack of pressing lack of passing lack of leadership lack of an idea.

Mark needs to act & fast as it is simply not acceptable & Jacko sadly is not the man for the job.
