Bristol Rovers have not won in twelve games (worse form than ours), so Tuesday night will be a very different challenge to today's game.

The 'home' gate today was 5,600, which I thought was pretty good all things considered.

For what it is worth, I think the game will be on. We have had some dry, sunny periods here today and it is forecast to be predominantly dry on Monday and Tuesday.

That's good to hear. I think we will win on Tuesday but fear AM's outcome if it is postponed! I hate midweek matches where the fixture is in doubt, having to plan leaving work early for the drive down etc.

Much more rain and the game will be off, there was quite a bit of rain last night and there has been a.lot of rain today. If the game goes ahead we simply have to win but wouldn't be surprise if it was a draw.

I have been past the ground and the pitch is waterlogged as we speak, with standing water everywhere. However, there is not too much additional rain forecast, so fingers crossed.

I’m surprised they didn’t put the covers on after Saturday given the forecast. Unless they don’t want the game played given Clarke’s fitness

It does seem odd; Storm Ciara wasn't exactly unforecasted!

I think the only way the pitch can be covered is by using the 'tent' heating system which costs a fortune and could only be justified for the big cup ties.

they do have the covers there but with the wind we have had today would not have made a difference . as they would blow all over the place . . i only know that with one of our green keepers helping the club out .

Personally I think we should want the game off as gives Clarke, Wilson and Woods more time to get closer to fitness. Playing tomorrow on what for sure would be a very heavy pitch is likely to leave us vulnerable to even more injuries - calf injuries in particular. Wimbledon aren't playing tomorrow so they won't get further ahead of us..

actually think we will win Tuesday (blind optimism) trouble is no matter what team selected or formation is used we always seem to resemble a sunday league pub team who have just rolled up for a game before hitting the pub going for 2-0

Wimbledon play Ipswich tomorrow night. I think we definitely need the game to go ahead, as Bristol Rovers probably won't be in such a poor state for a rearranged fixture and we need to get a result prior to the run of away games coming up.

A number of the new recruits have not played much football recently, so fatigue is not as much of an issue as it was a few weeks ago.
