Wonder how Rovers will line up. Think I'd be inclined to go 532 with Wilson and Caprice as wing-backs a midfield trio of Perkins Danns and Morris and Connor Jennings just behind whichever striker is fit.
I would stick with the same formation as the Watford game. A 4411 with Jennings dropping into midfield when we lose the ball. We did not look good in a 532 in the first half at Watford.

I hope Ferrier makes it since his ability to get between man and ball stops the ball from coming straight back at us, as it was doing in the period when he was out injured. Being able to keep the ball in the opposition half when it gets there really is the best form of defence. I would also prefer us to start CBT; his runs at the full back early on in the match are both threatening and sufficient to keep the opposition defence "honest" while he is on the pitch. Without these 2 playing we will find we are playing against a very high line and under immense pressure throughout.

I agree with ONIGP, but Ferrier will find it tough playing on his own against Bailley, Lindelof or whoever. A step up from the defenders he faced on Thursday.

Without question and I'm sure he will be relishing the opportunity to show what he's got against players of that calibre, providing he's fit of course. Jennings' impact in midfield on Thursday highlighted why we can't go 2 up top tomorrow - it would be a hugely risky strategy. Completely agree that we should repeat the Watford formation, irrespective of personnel available.

amazing how the whole world wants to be part of the fun
Yes, and also a good reminder for those with short memories about how much the club has progressed over the last few years.

@Boz Yeah, I think MM will play this one quite cautiously. I'd be temped to keep four at the back otherwise we play too deep and invite pressure. Stick the extra man in midfield and let Ferrier do all the running up top. Whilst I like Wilson he doesn't deserve a start.

Isn't it a few thousand less than the stated capacity? Some for safety reasons, others to accommodate the cameras and some for obstructed views i think.

Edit: sounds about right RLC.

Let the ticket seat chaos commence tomorrow.

amazing how some idiots don’t understand that you sit in the seat shown on your ticket. If it’s your normal season ticket seat then great, if it isn’t then sit in the seat shown on the ticket as someone else, which could be a child, has the seat for your season ticket for a one off game. man up and leave them be

I think it is our first complete sell out since the Liverpool quarter final in 2001. From memory, I don't think the Millwall replay in 2004 sold out completely.

Great news about the sell-out and hopefully can maximise funds as AM suggests. Ideally fans will be sensible and sit on the seat they're allocated and the club will be alert to sort out any issues. The turnstiles need to be properly manned, as it doesn't look good if the game kicks off with ticket-holders still not inside the ground.

In terms of line-up are there any updates on Ferrier's injury situation? Otherwise assume all save long-term absentees and Woodyard will be available?

Micky has said Ferrier is fit to play and there are no other injuries as far as I know.

It really does make you blink to realise that we have this fixture at all. How far have we come since we hit rock bottom? In fact the last 3 and next 3 fixtures are against teams who are either in the EPL or have (relatively) recently been there!

I hope their legs have enough in them as it must have took a bit out of them on Thurs night.

They had a bit of a "relax" day at Village Hotel on Friday shown on club Twitter feed.
The players looked fine and as MM says, if they can't draw on energy reserves for this one they never will.
Never mind the players, it's a big game for Mickey.
He's been under scrutiny for his team selection, tactics, substitutions and loads of calls for his head (out of the question in my view).
Thankfully he's no shrinking violet and he'll be relishing it.
