How did we win that? Three reasons, I think. Firstly, Micky didn't panic, read the game well and changed the system. Secondly, I don't know what Micky said at halftime, but I've never seen a Rovers team so determined to win a match. It reminded me of Chelsea's Champions League win. Finally, I've never seen the SWA so pumped up. Yes, everyone did their bit on one of the legendary days in our history.

Reflecting on today's game, Mellon deserves a lot of credit for his tactical moves. When he replaced Ginnelly with Jennings I wondered if he knew what he was doing, but Connor was excellent, protecting the ball to allow us to get up the pitch and providing the moment of quality for the winning goal.

Equally, in the first half we sat deep to protect our lead and did not press the opposition at all. However, after the equaliser it was clear that Mellon had had a word at half time, as the trio of Cook, Norwood and Jennings did press their back four on occasions, but not in a cavalier fashion that left us exposed at the back. We always had a threat on the counter attack and Norwood's goal was not a complete surprise.

It sounds like Rovers had learnt from last year and BW were overawed. Would Andrade be worth trying to sign as a third striker?

As good as we were, I thought BW were disappointing. I expected more from them.

Cookie is a very undemonstrative bloke, an introvert - at least to the public.
But he showed yesterday what all this means to him.
I think it will take an exceptional offer from L1 club to make him turn away from what our club can now potentially achieve.
Pleased for Rides - only so far as defeat would likely have destroyed him in the the eye of the fans. He's been too good a servant for that and it was wholly out of character.
Had it been nil nil with 20 to go and we then lose, then that paints a wholly different picture.
Hope those that made it into Aldos enjoyed the night. They were queueing up when we got back at 10.45 so ended up in Sportsmans!

I think we have got to give a lot of praise to the players who came in from the cold in the play-offs and performed for us. Monthe, Ginnelly, Cole and Clarke had barely featured in recent weeks but were excellent.

Eddie Clarke has barely been involved for months, but was brilliant yesterday. We have got to try and keep hold of him.

Clarke should be playing every week. Ginnelly and Cole have had a great playoffs and felt for them having to be sacrificed yesterday and Monthe has been a rock in these play offs.

Still keep reliving Norwoods goal in my head, seeing that ball trickle over the line. Magic ..
