There's a long way to go yet. We are not yet half way through the season and winter has yet to start. FGR had a great start to last season and blew it. The game there in two weeks is important. If we win that game and our others, we will be only a point behind. However, even if we lose, it will be far from over. Teams always have bad spells.

If we do lose then a 10 point gap is going to look pretty daunting.
Great to see A M back. He had good words to speak about both clubs.
He may as well be picking splinters on our bench as Shrewsburys.
MM does seem to know how to use him to good effect.
We should have a sign on M53 as you approach Clatterbridge - "Twinned with Shrewsbury"

if we win the game in hand, it would be 7 points, assuming FGR gain maximum points in games such as against zlincoln and we win against Chester.

We are currently seven points behind. If we win our game in hand next Tuesday, we'll be four adrift. So if we beat them, we'll be just one short. However, that's a lot of ifs.
