Not a good result. Never nice to lose to the rivals from across the border.
But there are positives:
- Bas Savage played another 90 minutes which will help his comeback, and we all (I'm sure hope to see him back in the first team soon).
- We had a Swedish trialist called Robin Kacaniklic. A left winger who plays for Swedish side Mjallby and has had trials at Wrexham and Hull in the last 18 months or so. He got taken off so not sure how well he did.
- More football for McCready, Broomes and Mahon - useful if they are to be called upon in the next few weeks for first team duty.
On the negative side, we lost, Kithson Bain got injured (although in my view he's simply not good enough) and Joe Collister it seems made a couple of mistakes.
