This took place before yesterday's game. Key points below;

How to spend the promised £25k. There was discussion on improvements to the ground; replacing seats/safety rails in the Main Stand/Kop but to what extend should the Trust be supplementing TRFCs health and safety responsibilty? There will be an online vote for Trust members on options.

The need to build a contingency fund for when the Palioi move on as future owners may not be as Tranmere or Trust friendly. Taking over the running of the Fanzone has boosted their coffers,while longer-term, the wills initiative should see some legacies going to the Trust.

Relatively little said on the fighting fund for Micky, the impression given was that the club were broadly supportive.

I thought the trust money was solely for MM to boost the squad or is that a different budget?

Ian, it's a different budget. The Trust kept by agreement some of the takeover funds and also generate income and as part of the fan as associate director on the board deal agreed a £25k annual donation for 3 years.

Would hope that the Palioli are in it for the long term and hopefully the off field initiatives will continue to pay dividends for a considerable time.

I think from what's been said at earlier Trust meetings, the club was in a much worse position when they took over than they'd anticipated. Hence it's taking them longer to turn things around. I'd hope Mark and Nicola stick around too, but it's as well to be taking steps in case things aren't so optimistic when they depart.
