While as a proportion of the tickets sold, it is very good, the sales are disappointing and reflect the over-pricing of these tickets.

Absolutely Boz, the FA are an absolute disgrace allowing charges of the level being asked for a match, however important to the clubs concerned, in the 5th tier of English football. They are pricing families out of supporting their teams to pay for the cost of the National Stadium, the powers that be controlling our national sport don't give "a tinkers toss" for the grassroots supporter, it's all about maximising finances.
So we'll have to make twice the noise on behalf of those supporters who would have liked to have been there but couldn't afford it.

I agree about the ridiculous pricing. Apparently the tickets for the NL play off are the same price as for the Championship game ! With a minimum ticket price of £40 and a minimum coach fare of £30, many people in Birkenhead simply can't afford this game. To add insult to injury, there are no concessions available in the better parts of the stadium, which completely rules out most families with young children.

Regarding Wallace, MM said in his interview that we had a fully fit squad 'other than the long term absentees'. Read into that what you will.

Wallace might surprise us and be fully fit and raring to go!

The FA had a great opportunity to fill the stadium by allocating areas to families and selling them at discount prices. They could marketed it in London and the south-east as a family friendly occasion.

Even giving seats away would not only improve atmosphere but also generate income from food, drink, programmes and souvenirs.

A list of injured players is given in the match preview article on the OS, but there is no mention of James Wallace.......

I hope that whatever the result tomorrow, that come the final whistle, we feel that the team has tried their best. Don't want to be talking about a Tranmere no show. My feeling is that whereas a full strength Rovers would have edged this, with the current absentees, anything could happen. If Forest Green click, they could be out of sight. However the one area where we may have the edge is that Micky is the better tactician and more experienced in this type of thing than Mark Cooper. The strategy he adopted in the first leg at Aldershot got us to the final. However, he must give himself options with a balanced bench, even if that involves younger players like Gumbs.

Wasn't sure whether to go to this, as I don't enjoy games with so much hanging on them, starting to feel physically sick now. However, decided ought to be there as can afford a ticket, even at rip-off prices and many can't. In future the Trust/OSC should look at a similar scheme to the season-ticket's funded by fans to enable less well-off fans to make the game and I'd be happy to chip in for something of that nature.

Even if fgr are at their best, they wont be out of sight. We are the better squad and team. They might beat us, but it will be a tight game.

I like boz's idea of swa2 for Wembley tickets, pity we did not do that.

Safe journey to everyone travelling.
4-3-3 could be an option with

Davies
Buxton McNulty Ihiekwe Ridehalgh
Maynard Hughes C. Jennings
Norwood Cook Mangan

Andy Cook preferred as target man in what could be a tough physical battle, Cole Stockton to be introduced later as their defence tires providing more room for him to operate.
2-1 to Rovers. Good Luck

Well, Wallace missing from the official squad list in the Wembley programme. And next season there will be six teams in the playoffs with second and third automatically in the semi finals.

Forest Green full strength squad, though one or two on their bench might have expected to start.

C'mon Rovers!!
