Interesting stat that we have the highest average attendance in the NL. 5175. Only 6 clubs do better in D2 and 8 are worse in D1. At the same time we have 2 PL clubs close. I imagine our away support is up there as well.

Attendances have held up well and the signs in terms of season ticket sales are promising. As discussed elsewhere, if we remain NL, we lose the games with Chester and Macc, both drawing reasonable numbers of away fans, but while Chesterfield are likely to bring decent numbers, unless Stockport go up, the number of away fans will fall. This can be compensated with more home fans, but unless we keep Cook or recruit a striker of similar quality and get off to a good start that could prove challenging. Winning the play-offs willl make a big difference, here’s hoping...

looking at the likes of accy stanley . and morecambe . who have so small fan basses . what accy have done is amazing . just goes to show if you have the right people in and the right manager and set up what you can do .
