Hope MM isn't falling into the Adams trap - keep rolling the dice looking for a double six.
I asked last week if CJ could play up front. Now's his chance.

Too negative IMO but it does look like we're getting chances. Can we put them away?

We have created more than them and should really be ahead. Jennings has given us something different but we are lacking a physical presence up front. Still obviously lacking confidence.

McEveley already picked up a booking and not sounding fully fit. Gumbs not on the bench, nor any other defender, so may have to change formation. Not creating much by the sound of it.

We battled hard with ten men but all the tactical issues remain. Cook not coming off the bench suggests there is still an issue in the dressing room. A game that was winnable and mceveley was bloody stupid. Not an enjoyable afternoon.

Quite frankly another poor result and another game without a goal. How long will MM continue with this madness ?

Ebbsfleet.... dear god we've slipped to new lows.

It sounded from the commentary as though quite a few players came out of that with some credit; McNulty, Sutton, Harris, Norwood, Jennings when deployed as a right-wing back and it's not an exhaustive list.

The initial selection, persistence with wing-backs and lack of options on the bench was puzzling and had predictable consequences. Given MMs reluctance to play Gumbs, don't understand the decision to pitch a relatively untried youngster in Waring up front. If he wanted to change the line of attack, Cook was the obvious choice, Alabi would have been the closest to Norwood's style of play.

While I am far from happy with the overall situation, to play half the game with ten men away from home and get a point is a decent effort and the players deserve some credit for battling today.

Ignoring the fact we had a 'player' sent off, the tactics and team selection is beyond a joke. Far too negative. We have 5 strikers who would get into at least 20 of the other teams in this league, and we play 1. And when we do play 2, norwood is quite often out wide.

Time for him to go. He clearly has no plan B, and plan A isn't working. We've become a soft touch to play against, it's becoming laughable.

Agree with JKS above.

I'm giving them zero credit when we can't win away at Ebsfleet. This silliness has to stop.

What have we become? Really..

So depressing and no money in the kitty. Parachute payments ended and no spare cash from the land sale. A long season coming. To sack MM would cost money and the new man would have no money to make new signings. MP would
have to dip into his pocket assuming he has any spare cash. A decent ground and good training set up but an underperforming team in the fifth level! What have Rovers come to? Just have to get used to it I suppose.
