The first round of the Carling Cup will be announced at noon today. If I manage to get online at 12 I'll post the fixtures.

Between this and the league fixtures tomorrow it gives us something to look forward to.

I'd rather we progressed than meet a Championship side, really... but then again if we beat Hull our cup-team reputation would be restored.

Yeah I was hoping for a tie a little easier than that to be honest. I really think we need a cup run this season to be honest.

Not sure if its applicable here or not, but i know that it is illegal to post complete lists of leauge fixtures, but im not sure about the leauge cup. Just dont want this site to get into troubles so if anyone knows if it is then let us know.

Well as a site moderator, if I was contacted and asked to remove such a list, posted by a forum user, of course I would do. However, as this is very clearly in an informational and not-for-profit usage I can't imagine that anyone would have a problem with it.

No worries. It's one of the reasons I only post a fixture ahead in the matchday. Of course we could list all the fixtures if we all grouped together and came up with the insanely large figure for permission to use them.
