This Is Anfield is a very well run website, run by Liverpool FC fans for their fans. It is obviously in the traditional club colours of red and is a nice simple design which allows users to navigate the site easily and find what they want without too much hassel.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p> </o:p>
It’s kept very up to date with all the latest news and reports about the club, as well as many other features to keep visitors to the site entertained and informed. There’s a calendar to keep fans informed of upcoming fixtures for the month ahead on the main home page, as well as news link from other sites such as the BBC.

There’s a good array of columnist with different opinions on the goings on at the club, plenty of reactions to events at the club such as the American ownership and the plus and minus points of them.

But you find a lot of interactive stuff for the visitors to take their part in the site too. Polls, chat rooms, prediction leagues are all things that users of the site take part in and participate and helps keep a healthy number of regular visitors. They also do a podcast, airing their views of the club to the world in audio for those that want to stick it on their MP3 player.

Another nice feature on the site is links to youtube videos of classic Liverpool games and goals, including their memorable comeback against <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on">Milan</st1:City> in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Istanbul</st1:place></st1:City>. They never tire of reminding you about that do they?!
<o:p> </o:p>
All in all, it’s a very professional looking site, kept up to date with interesting articles to read, and other features for users to get involved in. Am sure that many a <st1:place w:st="on">Liverpool</st1:place> fan visits the site for a regular fix of their club, and quite rightly too as it is an excellent site. The only issue I had with it was the number of ads, but understandable to help with their running costs, more and more sites are plastering their sites with hundreds of ads but it seems to be the way of the world and needs must sometimes.
