Steve Wilson Goalkeeper for 6 weeks

On bbc sport it says we can bring in a goal keeper on loan i really believe we should do this because wilson is NOT a league 1 goalkeeper he was only signed because he played at hull

What are your opinions i really think we need to get a loan in

He apparently played well at Barnsley, and he was brilliant against Man City and good against Crewe in pre-season.

Trust in him, he has the ability.

Happy to have Wilson in goal for us, dont mind at all, I dont know if I prefer Palethirpe though cos I have found him in impressive in reserve games.

i saw wilson against man city pre season (1-0 ) and he seems to be good enough......
he cud be a gd omen as we won city :wink:

I think he will be able to do the job for 6 weeks. I would though get a keeper in on loan to cover if we can bring in one as an emergency loan.

Eh :?: So we have a second choice keeper, pay his wages and have him warm the bench week-in week-out.

Then as soon as our first choice keeper is injured you want us to spend more money getting a loan keeper in :? We even have Palethorpe as back-up for our second choice keeper.

We have enough keepers, we don't need a loan one :!:

We wouldn't be able to bring a loan keeper in either as we have 2 fit professional goalkeepers at the club. If that changes then they can but not yet. Not seen much of Wilson so willing to hang fire on judging him.

He's a decent keeper. Don't have any worries about him playing in John's absense.

I haven't got any problem with Wilson playing... he sounds like a very able keeper. I would bring someone in just to cover him though but I suppose Palethorpe could cover.

can i everyone stop going on about loaning a goalkeeper, weve got wilson as ourt back-up now hes gettin used, stop worrying we dont need to loan any we have wilson! and if he doesnt do well, its kind of why we have palethorpe, why did he sing a pro contract.

we are fine for keepers!!!
