Next stop for Rovers is the rather unromantic Weston Homes Community Stadium to face a Colchester side that has struggled ever since we tonked them 4-0 at Prenton Park in September, with a fantastic display of attacking football. United have picked up a bit recently, following a horrific run of nine successive defeats but were soundly beaten by Sheff Utd last week.

I would imagine we will line up as follows:

OFW
Holmes Taylor Daniels / Goody Zoum
ABB Power Corry Robbo
Big Mama Akpro

Looking at that team, there should be more than enough individual quality to win the game. However, I think there are still several areas of concern. With several inevitable changes to the starting line up once again, we may take a while to gel. In addition, we have to recover sufficiently from the collective nervous breakdown of recent weeks to cut out the errors that have cost us so dearly in recent matches.

I think it is a bit of a toss up as to whether Daniels or Goodison starts in defence: Colchester's main threat up front is Ibehre, the kind of player Goody is generally comfortable against, so maybe he will get the nod. The centre of midfield is still a concern, as we lack any real physical presence or defensive qualities in there. However, with the changes up front and against poorer opposition, we will hopefully have a great deal more possession than on Tuesday, which may take some pressure off the back four.

My head says a draw would be a good result to stop the rot, my heart hopes for a victory to keep alive our fading hopes of automatic promotion.

We'll stop the rot with a win here. Forward line will be a boost for the squad and they'll be hungry to win this one. Goody on the bench I think..

I think the line-up will be as RLC suggests, save Kay keeping Holmes out and with Daniels ](*,) getting the nod over Goodi. While we might have more firepower up front, but remaining brittle at the back. Colchester, both at Layer Road and now the Weston Homes hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Rovers. A draw wouldn't be a disaster and is probably the best we'll do.

I cant see us winning as we are too weak at the back at the moment, unless theres a last minute show up by Gibson. I think 1 1
